The art of layering necklaces
Share
Layering is the quickest way to make simple pieces look styled. Here is the formula our team swears by.
Start with three lengths
Choose a short chain around 40 cm, a pendant at 45 cm and a longer piece at 50 cm or more. Leaving roughly 5 cm between each layer stops them from tangling.
Mix weights, keep one metal
Pair a fine chain with a slightly bolder one, and let a single pendant be the hero. Sticking to all gold or all silver keeps the look polished.
Our starter stack
- Miniature Heart Pendant as your shortest layer
- Initial Letter Necklace in the middle
- Swan Pendant on its adjustable chain at the longest setting
Necklines matter
V-necks and open collars are made for layering. For high necks, wear a single longer pendant over the fabric instead.
